Interested students in grades three through eight can pick up the required reading lists and synopses from Ms. Everyone is eligible to read the books, but to officially participate in the program, students must have a signed permission slip on file with their building coach. Summaries for the Battle of the Books titles are available for review and can be found in the library and linked above. "Battles" are held at the school, district, and state levels. NLABC students in grades 3-4, 5-6 and 7-8 read specific titles and answer questions about the books. We appreciate that families talk about book selections prior to students reading the titles, and hope our award-winning battlers will gear up early for the 21-22 battles by starting to read the books soon!
